The device offers a comprehensive overview of ambient air quality, providing real-time notifications when pollutant levels reach concerning thresholds. This allows users to take prompt action by moving indoors or activating air purification systems.

A newly introduced feature includes a customizable widget for the home screen, enabling quick access to current air quality data without opening the application.

It displays detailed information about primary airborne pollutants in your vicinity, including PM2.5, PM10, NO2, SO2, CO, and O3, with data powered by the Air Quality Index (https://aqicn.org/).

Particulate Matter (PM2.5 and PM10): These fine particles are complex mixtures of chemical components in solid and aerosol form. Particles with diameters of 10 microns or less can penetrate into the respiratory system and pose health risks.

Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2): A highly reactive gas generated during the combustion of fossil fuels. NO2 can irritate the respiratory tract and exacerbate conditions such as asthma. It also reacts with other pollutants to form secondary particulate matter and ozone.

Sulfur Dioxide (SO2): A colorless gas arising from fossil fuel combustion and volcanic activity that irritates the skin and mucous membranes of the eyes, nose, throat, and lungs.

Carbon Monoxide (CO): A colorless, odorless gas produced by incomplete combustion processes that hampers oxygen transport in the bloodstream.

Ground-Level Ozone (O3): A key component of smog that irritates the respiratory system and increases vulnerability to infections, allergens, and other airborne pollutants.
